US stock market hours

NYSE and Nasdaq trade from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday to Friday. Pre-market trading starts at 4:00 a.m. and after-hours trading runs until 8:00 p.m.

The US observes daylight saving time from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November, so in most other countries the open moves by an hour twice a year. The tables below show both cases.
