Hong Kong stock market hours

The Hong Kong stock exchange has a pre-opening session from 9:00 to 9:30, continuous trading from 9:30 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 16:00, and a closing auction from 16:00 to 16:10, Hong Kong time.

On the eves of Christmas, New Year and Lunar New Year the market trades in the morning only. Since 23 September 2024 trading continues under Typhoon Signal No. 8 and Black Rainstorm warnings. Hong Kong does not use daylight saving time.
